Abe (Sheffield, UK) have been described as what Grizzly Bear might sound like if remixed by the likes of Four Tet. Inspired by the likes of Animal Collective and Yeasayer, their alternative sounds are pushing a new wave of music.

Camera Phone (Chicago, US) creates oozy, distracted songs from the scraps of pop-culture. His first record Red Stag (for James) was built entirely out of samples from Taylor Swift’s Speak Now. He is also a member of the Philadelphia quartet Luftwaffe.

Comodo (Nottingham, UK) creates ambient soundscapes with distorted samples. His debut EP, To The Sun, was released in March and is available for free download here:

Newman Wolf (Los Angeles, US) has a beautiful knack for creating trippy electro tracks with a summery vibe. Despite only having 4 tracks on his soundcloud, he has played support slots for the brilliant Baths.

Sleepy Lesbos (Chicago, US) is an electronic producer who isn’t afraid to try a range of styles, beautifully using vocal samples throughout over delicate synth and sharp beats.

The Soft (Bury St Edmunds, UK) are a young, electronic three piece capable of creating a wall of sound in 9 minute long tracks, and danceable synth hits.
